Last year, TROY awarded over $20M in scholarships. There are several scholarships available to students majoring in programs in this department. Some of these scholarships include (Marketing), (RMI) and the (Economics).

Mission Statement

The School of Creative Enterprise and Market Systems empowers students with the knowledge, analytical skills, and innovative mindset needed to lead in a dynamic global economy. In alignment with the mission of the Sorrell College of Business and through rigorous academics, interdisciplinary collaboration and applied learning, we prepare graduates to make informed, ethical and impactful decisions across business, policy and entrepreneurial settings.

Study Abroad with RMI

Opportunities for internships abound the in the Sorrell College of Business and each year, RMI students have the chance to intern at the prestigious Lloyds of London, and participate in session with Markel International, Ltd. and AIG. While in London, students learn not only market principals but how events can shift the global insurance market. Every RMI student completes at least one internship during the program and 58 percent receive full-time offers from their host companies. Every RMI student receives full-time offers before graduation and their average starting salaries are in excess of $68,000.

I extend a warm welcome to students, faculty, industry partners and visitors. Our School is home to a diverse set of disciplines that equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in today's business world. The goal of the School is for students to gain the ability to understand markets, manage financial resources, assess and account for risk, and launch innovative ventures. We offer a multidiscipline curriculum supported by expert faculty and real-world learning opportunities. Our faculty are not only accomplished researchers and educators but also committed mentors dedicated to helping students thrive both academically and professionally.

Overall, more than 90% of our graduates secure positions in their chosen field or are accepted into graduate programs or law school within two months of graduation.

Sorrell College of Business alumnus Nick Abraham has been named chief executive officer of Amwins Global Risk, the firm's London-based specialty distributor.
